Mini Winter Crochet Hats

I’ve been crocheting a few different mini hat designs over the past few weeks (See my Mini Holiday Hats HERE and my Mini Party Hats HERE) and now I’m adding Mini Winter Hats to the mix! The fun part of this particular design is that they fit the Easy Crochet Bunnies that I posted a few day ago! They are now Snow Bunnies! You could customize these hats to make them holiday themed. Add a heart button for Valentine’s Day, a flower button for Easter or Spring, as shamrock button for St. Patrick’s Day, etc. Follow the written pattern below or watch the video tutorial on my YouTube Channel!

Materials:
– Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in two colors (one for main hat and one for brim.
– Size H Crochet Hook
– Decorative buttons found at Michaels Stores
– Tapestry Needle

Mini Winter Crochet Hat For Bunny:
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 10 SC in ring, join, chain 1
Round 2: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 3: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next 2, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 4: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next 3, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 5: SC in first 6, chain 3 and skip 3 stitches, SC in next 10, chain 3 and skip 3 stitches, SC in remaining stitches, join, chain 1
Round 6: SC in each stitch around making 3 SC in the chain spaces, join, chain 1
Round 7-10: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1
switch to brim color yarn
Round 11: HDC in each stitch around, join, chain 1
Round 12: FPHDC in first, BPHDC in next, repeat around, join
Fasten off and weave in ends

Round 2: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 3: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next 2, repeat around, join, chain 1

Round 5-10: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1
switch to brim color yarn
Round 11: HDC in each stitch around, join, chain 1
Round 12: FPHDC in first, BPHDC in next, repeat around, join
Fasten off and weave in ends
Add pom-pom in brim color to top!
Add a decorative button!
