Are you ready for some easy amigurumi?! This Crochet Bunny has very little sewing involved because the only pieces that need to be attached are the arms and feet (and those are optional!) The entire body and head and the two floppy ears are crocheted in one piece giving you less parts to sew together and ends to weave in. Just start from the bottom up!
Materials:
– Red Heart With Love Yarn in color Aran (or any color you’d like!) You can get 3-4 bunnies from one skein. Shop Red Heart Yarn HERE on Yarnspirations.com.
– Size H Crochet Hook
– Safety Nose (pink preferably) and two small safety black eyes. I got mine HERE on Amazon.com
– Tapestry Needle
– Poly-fil Fiber Stuffing
– Clover Pom-Pom Maker (optional)
Finished Size: approximately 8 inches tall and 5 inches wide

Easy Crochet Bunny Pattern:
Body/Head/Ears (all worked together):
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 10 SC in ring, join to first SC, chain 1
Round 2: 2 SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 3: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 4: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next, repeat around, join, chain 1 (30 SC)
Round 5-11: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (30 SC)
Round 12: SC decrease, SC in next 4, repeat around, join, chain 1 (25 SC)
Round 13: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (25 SC)
Round 14: SC decrease, SC in next 3, repeat around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 15: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 16: SC decrease, SC in next 2, repeat around, join, chain 1 (15 SC)
Round 17: SC in each stitch around, join, chain1 (15 SC)
Round 18: SC decrase, sc in next, repeat around, join, chain 1 (10 SC)
start stuffing with polyfil
Round 19: 2 SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (20 SC)
Round 20: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next, repeat around, join, chain 1 (30 SC)
Round 21-28: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (30 SC)
Add safety eyes and nose (or stitch on eyes/nose) and continue to stuff with poly-fil
Round 29: SC Decrease, SC in next 3, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 30: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1
Round 31: SC Decrease, SC in next 2, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 32: SC Decrease, SC in next, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 33: SC Decrease until closed (or almost closed). Do not fasten off yarn, It’s ok if the top isn’t completely closed shut, you can crochet it closed when making the ears.
Chain 20, 2 TC in 5th chain from hook, TC in next, DC in next 4, HDC in next 4, SC in remaining chains, now SC along the edges of the ear making 2 SC in each of the stitches around the bottom/wider part of the ear. Join to top of bunny head, repeat to make second ear.
Now you can fasten off and weave in your ONE loose end!
Bunny feet (make 2):
magic ring, chain 1 and make 10 SC in ring, join, chain 1
Round 2: 2 SC in first, SC in next, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 3-4: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (15 SC)
Round 5: SC decrease, SC in next, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 6: SC decrease two times, SC in last 6, join, chain 1
Round 7: SC decrease, SC in last 6, join
Fasten of, stuff with poly-fil, leave long tail
Bunny Arms (make 2):
Magic ring, chain 1, and make 8 SC in ring, join, chain 1
Round 2-4: SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1
Round 5: SC Decrease, SC in next two, repeat around, join, chain 1
Round 6: SC in each stitch around
stuff lightly and fasten off leaving a long tail.
Tail:
Use a small pom-pom maker to make a fluffly bunny pom-pom tail!
