I followed the pattern for the Caron Crochet Amigurumi Friends. I loved the little mouse and realized that it could easily be turned into a bear! I used honey brown Little Crafties yarn and a bit of white for the snout and ears. The light blue made the perfect scarf! And I went ahead and added in safety eyes and nose but you can use a french knot for the eyes and stitch on the mouth/nose instead as shown in the directions.

Pattern for the Snout: Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 2 SC + HDC + DC + HDC + 2 SC + HDC + DC + HDC, join to first SC, pull tight and fasten off.
Pattern for Scarf: Chain 42, HDC in 3rd chain from hook and rest of the way down chain, fasten off and weave in ends.
