Materials:
- One skein of Bernat POP! yarn in Blue Blaze
- Size H Crochet Hook
- Tapestry Needle
Stitches Used:
Sl St = Slip Stitch
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
Special Stitches:
Scallop: Skip 2 stitches and make 7 DC in the next stitch, skip 2 and join with slip stitch, repeat from beginning.
Scarf Pattern:
Chain 200 loosely
DC in 3rd chain from hook and the rest of they way down chain (198 DC), chain 1, turn
Row 2: SC in each stitch across, chain 2, turn (198 SC)
Row 3: DC in each stitch across, do not turn (198 DC)
Scallop stitch around entire scarf.
You will start by making 7 DC all in one stitch (the middle stitch of the end of the scarf – where the SC is) and slip stitch to the first stitch in other end of scarf. You have now made one scallop. *Skip 2 stitches, make 7 DC in next stitch, skip 2 stitches, join to next stitch with a slip stitch, repeat from *
Begin first scallop on end of scarf by making 7 DC in the end of the middle row.
Continue to make the scallop stitch around entire scarf.
Roll it up like a rose to gift or sell!
Finished size is about 74 inches long and 4 inches wide. You can always make the scarf long or wider by increasing the starting chain and adding on rows!
