Here’s a quick little project you can make over the holidays! I have re-created the Marshmallow Snowman in a Mug into a crochet keepsake, ornament, or even use it as a toy! This non-edible version is super cute and won’t melt! A fun make for the winter season.

I first spotted this yummy marshmallow snowman over at Wide Open Eats

And I love THIS edible version by It’s Always Autumn as well!

Here is the pattern for my crochet version!

Bernat Super Value Yarn in white, aqua, and light brown.
Shop yarn HERE at Yarnspirations.com

– Carrot Nose Button (I found mine HERE on Amazon)
– 1 Brown Pipe Cleaner
– Small strand of black yarn (optional for smile)
Mug:

Join in blue yarn to the top side of mug. Chain 18 and join to bottom of mug (at about round 4), turn, slip stitch in each stitch and join to top of mug, turn, slip stitch down handle and join to bottom of mug, fasten off and weave in ends.
OPTIONAL: Add a bigger lip around the top of the mug by re-attaching the aqua yarn and single crocheting around the rim!

with white yarn
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 6 SC in ring, pull tight and join to first SC, chain 1
Round 2: 2 SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (12 SC)
Round 3: 2 SC in first stitch, SC in next, join, chain 1 (18 SC)
Round 4: in back loops only, SC in each stitch around, join, chain 1 (18 SC)

Round 12: SC decrease until close.
Cut brown pipe-cleaner for the arms and legs.
Use a little bit of hot glue to secure if needed.
With a long strand of yarn (maybe in aqua) secure back of marshmallow to the mug (weave strand of yarn all through the mug and to the bottom to weave in your ends).

Cozy up and enjoy!
