Have you heard of PatPat clothing? They are a very popular online clothing company that offers quality kids clothing at low prices. They work directly with the manufacturer to bring you the best deals and savings! As a mom shopper I have always been a big fan of their children and baby selections! About a month ago I received and e-mail from PatPat requesting a collaboration! I was so excited to see that they had taken notice of a few of the mommy & me photos that I had posted on my social media (like THIS ONE) and they wanted to send me matching outfits!
I chose the Pretty Floral Long-sleeve Matching Dress for Mom and Me and I absolutely love the fit and style on Zoe and I! I am wearing the Women’s Size Medium and Zoe is wearing the kids size 5-6 years.

The length is perfect and the 3/4 length sleeves are very flattering. The pretty floral print has us ready for the Spring season and inspired me to make Zoe a crochet flower crown!
The flower crown is a super quick project that you can whip up in an hour.
Materials:
– Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Sunshine, Persimmon, Country Peach, White and Pistachio. Pretty Spring Colors! Shop all colors on Yarnspirations.com
– Size H Crochet Hook
– Pipe Cleaners or Floral Wire
– Hot Glue Gun
Flower Pattern:
Magic Ring, chain 1 and make 6 SC in ring, join
Round 2: Chain 2 + 2 DC + chain 2 in first stitch and slip stitch to join in that same first stitch (this makes one petal), slip stitch over so you are working in the next stitch, chain 2 + 2 DC + chain 2 and slip stitch to join, slip stitch over so you are working in the next stitch, repeat around so you make 6 petals,
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Leaf Pattern:
Chain 6, SC in 2nd chain from hook, HDC in next, DC in next two, make 6 DC in last chain.
Now working on the other side of the chain, DC in next two, HDC in next, SC in last (do not join yet), chain 2 and make a SC in second chain from hook, join to first SC.
You can see a photo tutorial on how to make the leaf HERE
Wrap green yarn around pipe cleaners or floral wire. You will want to pre-measure the head it will sit on so your circle is the right diameter. two pipe cleaners connected together was perfect for Zoe’s crown! Hot glue flowers and leaves onto edges.
