Great News!! The Crochet Minion Hat Pattern is BACK! But let me first explain exactly what happened to my original Minion Hat Pattern. Around the time Minions became popular I created a Minion Hat Pattern and posted it for free on my blog. It quickly become one of my most popular posts! I was happy, you were happy 
Then something happened. I received a cease and desist letter from Universal Studios for the immediate removal of my crochet Minion hat from my blog. Totally understandable. It is a copyrighted image and property of NBC Universal. This was a hard lesson for me but I am so happy that they allowed me the chance to correct my mistake.
Then something else happened. A little less than a year ago, the craft education company Craftsy was acquired by NBC Universal and obtained the licensing for the Despicable Me movie characters. They wanted to buy my Minion Hat Pattern and re-publish it!
This is the absolute best scenario I could think of. I felt so bad that this pattern was just sitting here on my computer and nobody had access to it. Now Craftsy was able to use the pattern and allow crocheters to get their hands on it again!
