Cat Tail:
Magic ring, chain 1 and make 5 SC in ring, pull tight and continue to SC in rounds making tail as long/short as you like. Mine is about 30 rounds. After about the first 10 rounds you will want to start inserting your pipe cleaner. Fold it in half and twist it and then insert (not all the way to the end though) and crochet around it leaving about 1/2 inch still poking out.
Follow picture tutorial below for assembly instructions
Add safety eyes at about 9 rows up from the bottom and then place nose two rows lower and centered between the eyes.
Take long strand of white (or black) yarn and sew on whiskers.
Stuff head with polyfil fiber stuffing and sew shut with your tapestry needle using the whip stitch.
Sew on ears to both ends of the head.
Stuff body with polyfil fiber stuffing. The top of the body matches up perfectly with round 3 of the head.
Line them up and stitch together!
Poke the end of the pipe cleaner that is sticking out of the tail into the side/back of the cat body (about 9 rows up from the bottom). Sew onto body!
You’ve just created a PURRfect crochet kitty cat!
